I have received many questions from readers about my favorite money saving tools and blogging tips, so I decided to compile my recommended resources into one list. All of these products and services are things that I have thoroughly vetted or used personally.
Some of the links below are affiliate links, which means that I will receive a small commission if you sign up for something (at no additional cost to you). It’s a win-win. You can read our full disclosure policy here.
MONEY SAVING TOOLS
Here are my favorite tools to help you manage your money!
Your credit score affects whether or not you’ll be approved for a loan (mortgage, car loan, etc.) and how high your interest rate will be. Check your credit score for free (without damaging your credit) with Credit Sesame!
Whenever you’re shopping online, make sure to check Ebates to see if you can earn cash back on any of your purchases. Ebates is a free website that includes deals for tons of popular stores, including Target, Amazon, Walmart, and JCPenney.

Similar to Ebates, Ibotta is a free app that allows you to earn cash back on your purchases. With Ibotta, you can add rebates before you shop by completing simple tasks. You can also get cash back on purchases you’ve already made at participating stores – just take a photo of your receipt and redeem your rebates!

Struggling with student loans? LendEDU helps borrowers like you refinance their student loans at a lower interest rate. With rates as low as 2.57%, you can save over $200/month or $20,000 total.
All you need to do is fill out a quick, simple form and you can find out what LendEDU can do for you in just a couple minutes.
START A BLOG
Here are my favorite resources for bloggers. Blogging is a great way to earn some extra income that can go toward financial goals such as paying off debt, saving an emergency fund, or investing.
Bluehost (Website Hosting)
If you want to start your own blog, the first step is to set up website hosting. Bluehost is a popular choice for hosting because it’s affordable, easy, and the customer service is excellent.
BoardBooster (Pinterest help)
To earn money from your blog, you first need an audience. Once I started using BoardBooster, my monthly page views (and my blogging income) skyrocketed, and I now get more than 90% of my social media traffic from Pinterest.
BoardBooster allows you to automate pinning, manage campaigns, and clean up your boards – it’s an enormous time saver and it will help you to identify what’s working for you and what isn’t. For just $5/month, it’s well worth the small investment.
Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Course
This online course is offered by a master of affiliate marketing, Michelle Schroeder-Gardner of Making Sense of Cents. Michelle earns over $100,000 per month (yes…you read that correctly!) from her blog and more than half of her blogging income comes from affiliate marketing.
This course is a must for anyone interested in making money blogging – whether you’re a brand-new blogger or a more seasoned pro! Start profiting off your blog today – sign up for Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing now.
Social Warfare Plugin
Sometimes the images you use for Pinterest are not the same ones you want to have on your actual blog. Vertical images with large font work best for Pinterest, but this may not work for your blog. On my site, I use horizontal images with no font because this works best for my website layout.
In order to pin different images to Pinterest, I use the Social Warfare plugin for WordPress. This makes it so easy to pin on Pinterest! For just $29/year (about $2.40 per month), it’s definitely worth it!
